Alaska LLC Biennial Report

All LLCs operating in Alaska are required to file a Biennial Report every two years.
This report is designed to guarantee that the state maintains up-to-date contact information for your LLC.
Filing Methods
You can submit your Biennial Report by mail, although the state recommends filing it online.

$100 (due every 2 years)
Due Date
Your Biennial Report must be filed every two years, starting from the date you submitted your Alaska LLC Initial Report. It is due by January 2nd of each odd-numbered year.
For example, if you filed your Initial Report on May 15th, 2025, your Biennial Report would need to be submitted by January 2nd, 2027, and then again by January 2nd every two years after that.

Penalty
The state grants a 1-month grace period. If you fail to submit your Biennial Report by February 1st, a late fee of $37.50 will be charged. Continued neglect of this obligation will ultimately lead to the state shutting down your LLC.

Before starting, ensure you have your LLC’s Entity Number on hand.

Input your LLC’s Entity Number and hit the “File Online” button.
Entity Addresses
Check your mailing and physical addresses. Update them if necessary.
Please be aware that your Registered Agent cannot be updated through your Biennial Report. To make a change to your Registered Agent, you must submit a Statement of Change and pay the $25 fee associated with filing.
Officials
If there have been any changes, update the list of LLC members by adding or removing individuals.

Accept the terms, fill in your full name and phone number, and then hit the “Proceed” button.
Review
Select the “Review Filing” PDF link to examine your details one last time. You also have the option to print or save this PDF for future reference.
- To modify any details, click the “Return to Filing” button. To continue and submit your Biennial Report electronically, select the “Proceed to Payment” button.
